Dogs 2nd Chance is a Mid-South dog rescue based in Munford, TN, just north of Memphis, and we place dogs with families across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, not just one city or state. We’re volunteer-run and foster-based: no shelter building, no paid staff. To adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate, those links get you started.
What We Mean by Mid-South
The Mid-South is the Memphis metro area and everything around it: Munford, Millington, and Covington in Tennessee; Southaven and Olive Branch in Mississippi; and communities just across the Arkansas line. We hold adoption and microchip events throughout the region, including Southaven, MS and Olive Branch, MS, alongside our Tennessee events.
One Rescue, Three States
Because we’re foster-based rather than tied to a single shelter building, our reach isn’t limited by city or state lines. How Adoption Works
Every dog is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and evaluated by a foster family before adoption. Read About Adopting a Dog for the full process, then submit an Adoption Application. You can also meet dogs in person at one of our upcoming adoption events.
