Volunteer with Dogs 2nd Chance
Dogs 2nd Chance is entirely powered by volunteers — there’s no shelter facility and no paid staff standing between you and the dogs. If you want to volunteer with dogs in a hands-on way, or you’d rather help behind the scenes, there’s a role for you.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteer opportunities include staffing adoption and microchip events at local pet stores, transporting dogs to and from vet appointments, helping at fundraisers like the Mutt Strut 5K and Ride ‘n Roll, photographing adoptable dogs, and supporting our foster families with supply runs or dog-sitting.

Getting Started
