Linus’s Story…

When you pet a dog who has been through so much, at times they squint their eyes, lower their head or jump ever so slightly as a reaction. Which can rip your heart in half. I usually repeat in my head & out loud, I don’t know what you have been through sweet angel but, I promise I will never hurt you. Linus, does this at times, not a fault but rather a small insight to what he has been through in his short life on this earth. A small part of the story he had before finding the right people to help him. We will never know forsure what happened before he was noticed suffereing in a field in memphis Where one of the neighborhood lady’s was intentionally having her dogs attack him, moma rose and a few others. We will never know for sure if someone owned him at one time (which I suspect) and abandoned him. What we do know is we took him into, Dogs 2nd Chance. We have nursed him back to health, got him neutered, utd on shots, he has been treated for heartworms all while being allowed the oppurtunity to blossom in a safe environment with encouragement. He has been with us for a little over a year now and we would really love for someone to see how loving, loyal and wonderful this gentleman is. He is house broken, kennel trained, does well with his household manners, knows some comands and loves to play catch or tug of war. He is around 4 yrs old. He calms down easily and would love nothing more then to be near you, preferably within petting distance. Please consider adopting Linus as your new family member. This boy truly does deserve a home and family to call his own. If you are interested in him please go to Dogs2ndChance.org you can fill out a application with no obligation.
