Dogs 2nd Chance is a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer dog rescue based in Munford, TN, founded in 2007. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray and abandoned dogs by placing them in loving foster homes and then finding the ideal permanent home for each one. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

Rescue abandoned and stray dogs
Attempt to reunite lost dogs with their families
Provide safe haven in loving, temporary foster homes and help the dogs become more adoptable
Provide any necessary medical care
Reduce euthanasia rates
Provide public education about the problem of animal overpopulation
Decrease pet overpopulation through Spay/Neuter programs
Promote the principles of responsible pet ownership
