Dogs 2nd Chance Memphis, TN

I’m Casey Lee, a handsome black and tan Border Collie / Lab boy. I’ve got a sweet disposition and a lot of love in my heart! I’m about 42lb, under 5 years old, and very friendly once I get past my initial shyness. I’m generally quiet – with just a touch of mischief to keep it interesting. (Check out my photo where I’ve borrowed sissy’s panda bear! Don’t I look like I’m up to something?)

I love to be with people! Once I get to know you, I’m just a little cuddle bunny. If you let me sit on your lap and lick you I’ll be so happy! It’s the same with other dogs – I’m shy at first, but once we’re acquainted – the fun begins! Foster Mom & Dad watch with delight when I play tug of war with my German Shepherd foster sister! I’m learning how to go to the dog park and walk on a leash, too.

Foster Mom & Dad really love me a lot, but they’re sure there’s someone who longs for a gentle, sweet friend to hang out with and love. Are you that special person?

Sunny’s Story…

Hi, my name is Sunny and I’m a loving little clown! I’m a Ibizan hound mix girl, white with tan markings. I’m about 16 months old and 35 lb. I was born in March 2015, but things went badly wrong when my family had a new baby. They put me in a bare kennel with no bedding. With hardly any potty breaks or exercise, I was repeatedly whipped for peeing! What was I supposed to do? The metal tray I lived on was rusted out and I had urine burns on my legs when I was rescued.

I was so lonely and sad, but I was lucky because a kind person posted about my situation on Facebook, and Foster Mom came and got me right away. She has lots of other fosters, so I’ve had a chance to show how friendly I am with other dogs, cats, and kids! I like to play, and you’ll laugh with joy to see me hopping around like a kangaroo, coaxing other dogs to join in!

I’m house and kennel trained, and I’ll be a wonderful pet and playmate for a family with kids, or a couple or single with other dogs I can hang out with. You’ll need a fenced yard because I’m very active, but you won’t have to worry about barking – I’m a quiet girl.

My old life was sad and painful, but a new day has dawned. When you take me into your home and into your heart, happy days will be here to stay!

June Dog of the Month: Loralee

adoptable dog, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Tennessee

No Obligation Adoption Form

Loralee is a special name for a very special girl – ME!  I’m a striking strawberry blonde, and with my unusual coloring, elegant figure and alert expression, I get noticed wherever I go!  I’m a healthy puppy weighing about 25lb now – so I’ll grow a bit.

I was dumped at a convenience store at Hwy 51 & Simmons Road.  But I’m not about to let that get me down!  I’m happy and outgoing and though I tend to get nervous when cars drive by (the result of being dumped on a busy road?) just let me INTO a car and I’ll happily ride, ride, ride into the sunset or any vista you desire!  Because I’m just a youngster, I need guidance on walking decorum, but I LOVE walks and will sit very nicely when you hook on my leash!

My energy level is high, so I need active companionship – adventurous adults, older kids, and active doggie companions are my cup of tea!  I can get along with cats, too – sort of – we won’t be best buds, but I can live and let live.

If you appreciate an exotic beauty who wants to live the active life, I’m the perfect companion for you!

NH adoptable dog Cooper

NH adoptable dog Cooper NH adoptable dog Cooper 2 NH adoptable dog Cooper 3Hi!  I’m Cooper!  I’m a handsome Labrador/Golden Retriever mix boy, with a white coat and tan ears. People say I am quite handsome. We think I’ll grow to be a good-sized family dog and companion. I’m  friendly and easy-going!

I’m playful and love toys!  I get along very well with other dogs – I just love playing with them – check out my videos, from when I was a “toddler” to see me having some happy time with a friend! We will be sharing more videos very soon. I do well with cats, even though they are not much fun.

I am a quick learner and am doing quite well with basic commands. I love kids but am still a kid myself. I occasionally get so excited playing with my foster human siblings, that I get jumpy. I don’t mean any harm, I am just excited and having fun.

If your family is looking for a happy, loyal new member, I think you will be very happy with me!  Let’s get in touch!

Alfie Dog of the Month

alfie4 alfie3 alfie1 alfie2

Hi my name is Alfie because of my adorable big ears but everyone calls me “Buddy”because that’s what I want to be to you. I was found wandering the street all by my lonesome late one night. An elderly couple heard me crying and took me in. Even so they love me dearly I’m just too much puppy for them. They taught me how to sleep in my crate and I’m almost house broken. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and I ride great in the car. I play with my cat sister and I love my grandkids lol. But I would like my own active family or mom or dad. I get along with other dogs and sometimes I get to go to the neighbors house for a play date. I’m a sweet boy who would love to go for training  because I’m really smart and a quick learner. I’m learning right now how to sit for treats. So if you’re looking for a buddy give me a call I’m available.
